There is no better way to perfect one’s craft than to continue to study, study and do more studying! Tyson and I continue our education in all aspects of the artistic parts of photography, whether it is how to use new equipment, run new software to improve the editing process or making sure we are using the best there is for our end products from our vendors.
We also believe in helping others in their quest for knowledge in the photographic world.
Tyson is the editor and creator of the Smoky Mountain Journal of Photography which has grown by leaps and bounds over the few years it has been in circulation via a downloadable pdf file. He has many well-known and local nature photographers who write articles each quarter.
Tyson, myself and two others formed the Smoky Mountain School of Photography to enable those who want to learn from basic to advanced photography techniques within the Smoky Mountains. We all live here in the Smokies and know all the magical places to take our clients. Workshops can be tailored to just you or you and a few of your photographer friends.
