Alison & Robert’s Wedding| Museum of the Appalachia | Knoxville Wedding Photographer

The Museum of the Appalachia is a beautiful place to hold a wedding.  Alison and Robert picked this place for their wedding.  The east Tennessee weather turned unusually cold during the week of their November wedding.  Fortunately, the wedding day turned out beautiful with perfect weather!

Kathy-Smith-Photography-4Kathy-Smith-Photography-5This cake was so unique and fit Alison’s wedding theme perfectly.   It was almost too pretty to eat.  Guest enjoyed the matching cupcakes, too!

Alison looked beautiful as her father walked her down the isle to become Robert’s wife.  The little ring bearer and flower girl were too cute as they slowly walked down the isle!

The location for the wedding was perfect with the old buildings in the background.  Wedding photography is made easier when the venue is such a beautiful place!

Thank you, Alison and Robert, for being such wonderful people to work with.  We enjoyed being your wedding photographers at the Museum of the Appalachia!

I’d like to give a big shout out to the following for their great jobs at the wedding:

DJ: Chip Fuller of Fuller Light N Sound Inc.

Hair and Makeup : Bombshells

Cake:  Vanessa Caja

Venue: Museum of the Appalachia

If you are planning a wedding in the Great Smoky Mountains, I am more than willing to work with you to create the perfect wedding collection to capture your special day!

Note: I hold a CUA (commercial use authorization) permit with the National Park Service which gives Kathy Smith Photography permission to do wedding photography and portrait photography in Cades Cove and all areas of the Great Smoky Mountains.

Kathy and her husband, (sorry sir your name escapes me),did an awesome job of capturing our day just as we planned. They were very professional and went out of their way to be “Out of the way” and un-noticed for much of their work. It has been a year since our wedding and we look back on this day through these photos as an affirmation of our love and commitment to one another. Thank you for capturing all the emotion and beauty of the day for my family to cherish for years to come. Sorry I am not very photogenic and did not give much to work with but my beautiful wife and daughter more than make up for it.
