Emily and Kyle, Floridians, wanted a simple wedding in Cades Cove. Whether simple or not, every wedding is special, but holding the wedding in Cades Cove, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, makes it just perfect. Emily’s engagement ring is so unique and beautiful.
Tipton Place was the setting for the wedding. The old buildings and wagon on the property made such great backgrounds for their wedding photography.
Reverend Emily, an ordained minister, married the two on the steps of Tipton Place in Cades Cove.
After the sweet ceremony, we moved around the buildings at Tipton Place for portraits.
Several locations throught out Cades Cove were used for their wedding and portrait photography. Sparks Lane, with its dirt road, has to be one of the prettiest places in Cades Cove.
On our way out of Cades Cove we stopped by the picnic grounds to capture the beautiful settings with the creek and rocks as the background.
Emily and Kyle, thank you for the opportunity to photograph your wedding day! You two were delightful to work with.
Note: I hold a CUA (commercial use authorization) permit with the National Park Service which gives Kathy Smith Photography permission to do wedding photography and portrait photography in Cades Cove and all areas of the Great Smoky Mountains.
